So it begins ...

On July 18th 2009, a group of Dicom Ltd employees will attempt to achieve the National Three Peaks Challenge. The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the highest peak in England, Wales and Scotland, within 24 hours. The Peaks are Snowdon (Wales - 1085m), Scafell Pike (England - 978m) and Ben Nevis (Scotland - 1344m).

Here you can follow the challenge from the very start, hear all about our training right through until we achieve our goals in the summer. There will be regular updates from various participants, even as we attempt the mammoth task itself.

The challenge will be carried out to raise as much money for a chosen charity as possible. The charity is yet to be selected but due to the importance of the decision it will be done so in the near future.

I'd like to welcome all our readers and hope you follow and support us on this testing journey.

  1. It's great to see business's like Dicom undertaking these challenges to raise money for charity, especially when the current business climate is difficult and demanding. Which charity are you hoping to raise money for?

  2. We have chosen Marie Curie as our charity. We will be raising money for the Kimberley Branch which offers support for the staff at Kings Mill Hospital who put all their time to helping sufferers and their family through their times of need.
