The first big practice walk is fast approaching. This coming Saturday we'll be attempting to climb Snowdon. Some of us have already experienced this but for others it's their first time climbing a mountain.
I personally don't know what to expect having never done anything like this before. It is sure to be a worthwhile experience though and will illustrate just what we have ahead of ourselves in the weeks to come. We are all very excited though and looking forward to it, despite the early rise.

On July 18th 2009, a group of Dicom Ltd employees will attempt to achieve the National Three Peaks Challenge. The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the highest peak in England, Wales and Scotland, within 24 hours. The Peaks are Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis. The challenge will be carried out to raise as much money as possible for Marie Curie Cancer Care. Here you can follow the challenge all the way.
